As the Senior Manager of Outbound Sales and Marketing for Kindle, you'll lead a dynamic team driving growth through innovative marketing and paid sales programs. You'll develop and execute data-driven strategies to boost device sales, content consumption, and platform adoption. This role demands a strategic mindset to optimize advertising spending, create impactful marketing campaigns, and establish best practices across device categories and geographies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align go-to-market plans, manage portfolio planning, and oversee media and creative execution. Your leadership will be crucial in building and inspiring a team of top-tier marketing professionals to elevate Kindle's market position and ignite consumer passion for our products. Key job responsibilities - Drive strategic marketing initiatives to build brand awareness, increase website traffic, and optimize conversion rates for Kindle devices and content - Develop and execute comprehensive campaign strategies for new product launches and existing portfolio, with a focus on digital channels and influencer partnerships - Lead creative development and implementation across multiple channels, working closely with agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and maximum impact - Own the marketing mix and channel strategy optimization, making data-driven decisions to allocate budget for optimal ROI - Collaborate with research teams to gather consumer insights, test marketing effectiveness, and inform strategic planning - Build and execute go-to-market plans across geographies, establishing best practices for sub-segment marketing that can be scaled across device categories - Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media teams, creative agencies, and cross-functional partners - Lead continuous experimentation and innovation in marketing approaches, testing new channels and tactics to drive business growth - Monitor campaign performance metrics and make real-time adjustments to maximize marketing effectiveness - Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track KPIs and provide regular performance updates to leadership Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience managing teams - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of Photoshop, video editing, and related tools - Experience in inter-team working skills to develop partnership with partner, tech team and operating at leadership levels Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $168,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
