Our new site will specialize in fully automated pipette tip manufacturing to address growing demand.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Operations to lead the establishment and operational management of our new manufacturing site. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in greenfield site development, team building, and encouraging a customer-centric culture. The ideal candidate will also be instrumental in supporting the foundation of a strong safety and quality culture.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the commissioning of the start-up manufacturing facility, ensuring all achievements are met on time and within budget.Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that drives efficiency and employee engagement. Build individual development plans for team members, conduct performance reviews, and drive accountability.Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain outstanding manufacturing processes and systems to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.Culture Building: Champion the development of a strong, positive, and customer-centric organizational culture. Promote values of innovation, integrity, intensity, and involvement excellence.Customer Focus: Ensure that all operations are aligned with customer needs and expectations. Drive initiatives to continuously improve customer happiness and product quality.Safety and Quality: Establish and support the foundation of a robust safety and quality culture. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards and regulations.Collaborating and Partner Management: Work closely with internal and external collaborators, including senior leadership, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to achieve operational goals and advance central initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a greenfield site.Demonstrated success as an agent of change.Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong influencing skills and the ability to build effective relationships with collaborators at all levels.Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a customer-centric culture.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of automated manufacturing systems and processes is highly desirable.Strong dedication to safety and quality standards.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA dynamic and innovative work environment
