Job Title: Senior Manager, Master Planning

 

Job Duties: The Raymond Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, Master Planning in Greene, New York to lead and continuously improve enterprise Sales and Operations Planning competency. The

core functions of the position include strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand and supply, aligning volume and mix with capacity and capability, and integrating financial and operating plans to deliver improved operating and financial results. The role will coordinate supply chain, operations, and demand planning engineering efforts to determine capacity plans based on manufacturing engineering and supply chain engineering assessments. Design, enhance, implement, and manage multi-step sales and operations planning (S&OP) process. Determine required inputs and facilitate decisions around equipment, materials, labor, risk mitigation options, and other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon. Manage the aggregation of demand planning, data inputs, and modeling processes across all product categories and business channels, producing a rolling 12-18 month forecast and a 5-year capacity forecast of unconstrained future unit demand. Work closely with engineering to create and refine simulation tools to improve long term decision making, capacity investments and manufacturing engineering priorities. Recommend changes to production rates based on engineered capacity, productivity projections and supplier capacity to support expected demand. Develop and implement processes and policies to optimize enterprise finished goods inventory and order intake rates using engineered simulation tools. Work closely with sales and product engineering on planning and executing factory activation and ramp-up for new products, including managing engineering cut-ins of new products

and parts. Annual salary: $132,829 - $202,640.

 

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related field plus 10 progressive years of supply chain engineering experience. Must have at least 5 years of experience with each of the following: 1. OEM manufacturing and aftermarket parts and services, 2. end-to-end quote to cash business processes; 3.

Remapping business systems to support a broader/diverse product portfolio; 4. SAP, JD Edwards and /or OneWorld; 5. Lean Six Sigma and methodologies; and 6. Manufacturing operations.
