What the day will look like
+ Manage and service a portfolio of Marine accounts and ensure its financial sustainability and growth
+ Client retention as well as revenue growth through penetration (organic growth), new sales initiatives and cross selling
+ Day to day point of contact for clients in the portfolio on addressing queries
+ Assess and identify risks relating to the client operations
+ Prepare underwriting reports and lead broking, negotiation and placement of risks to the insurance market.
+ Responsible premium closings and submissions to CPU team for billing
+ Handle claims management
+ Identifying client needs and requirements and translating these into tailored insurance and/or service solutions
+ Building and maintaining a close business relationship with clients and prospects at different stakeholder levels
+ Delivering services and monitoring Aon performance through implementation of the Aon Client Promise methodology
+ Accountability for budget performance and other projects as assigned
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Minimum requirement (BCP, PGI, CommGI) for registration with MAS or such similar qualification acceptable to MAS
+ At least 6 years of experience within the insurance industry
+ Strong technical skills around insurance policy interpretation and drafting and/or Marine Risk
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to forge strong relationships with country and specialty colleagues as well as clients and insurers.
+ Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
