The Opportunity
This role sits within the Enablement Chapter, where we drive operational and financial effectiveness in Global Procurement by advancing talent growth and development, delivering actionable insights, fostering high engagement, and ensuring robust performance management. Our team is dedicated to enabling better outcomes and providing comprehensive support to GP leadership and chapters.
As Senior Learning & Talent Development Manager, you will report to the Learning & Talent Development Lead and play a critical role in shaping and scaling the capabilities required to deliver on GP’s strategic ambitions. You will help define the future of learning and talent development in Procurement — one that is human-centred, data-informed, and embedded in the flow of work.
You will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives that accelerate performance, close key capability gaps, and support transformation. Through strategic consultation and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll ensure our learning approach drives measurable outcomes and readiness for the future.
You will play a variety of roles depending on your experience, expertise, and business needs, including but not limited to:
Shape and contribute to a strategic learning agenda that proactively addresses GP’s evolving priorities and capability needs
Design and lead high-impact, scalable learning products that enable priority capabilities and deliver measurable business outcomes
Apply behavioural insights, experience design, and progressive learning approaches — including the transformative potential of AI — to embed learning into daily work
Continuously improve learning experiences by using data and learner insights to increase relevance, adoption, and impact
Lead the evolution of the onboarding experience, ensuring clarity, connection, and early integration into GP’s ways of working
Act as a strategic partner to Capability Leads, SMEs, and functional leaders to embed learning into performance and change initiatives
Collaborate with enterprise L&D, vendors, and platform partners to ensure seamless and effective delivery at scale
Who you are:
You hold a degree in Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in learning strategy, organisational development, or consulting
You have a strong track record of designing and delivering effective learning experiences in complex, fast-paced environments
You bring solid expertise in experience design, adult learning, and turning business needs into practical development solutions
You’re consultative and skilled at working with users and leaders to understand needs, challenge assumptions, and shape relevant learning approaches
You take a learner-first perspective with a strong focus on user experience, business impact, and ease of application
You use data, feedback, and iteration to continuously improve learning design and demonstrate value
You bring bold, practical ideas that make development more relevant, usable, and impactful
You thrive in innovative, high-ownership environments and actively foster a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and progress
