Job Description

This position supports the Associate Director, Global Market Access & Pricing – Epcoritamab in developing the access ambition and key deliverables like payer value propositions/stories for DLBCL and FL indications and ultimately providing tools and support to the market access teams in Areas and Affiliates.

 

This role will leverage your clinical understanding, deep global payer knowledge, and competitive insights to shape Access deliverables for Epcoritamab upcoming launches.The position works closely with Area and affiliate personnel in determining appropriate responses/actions to developmental milestone decision points with regards to implications for local pricing and/or reimbursement issues.The primary goal of this position is to define/refine Global pricing & access strategy, influence global commercial strategy and integrated evidence program to optimize price, reimbursement, and patient access for Epcoritamab.

Overall Responsibilities Include:

Addressing pricing, reimbursement, access (PRA) potential across international key markets, including the EU5, CAN, JPN, AUS, BRA and ChinaIn collaboration with the Associate Director, Global Market Access and Pricing – Epcoritamab, leverage Evidence Based Medicine expertise and clinical background, deep global payer knowledge, research and competitive insights to co-lead the Value and Access Team (VAT) through the creation of the Integerated Access StraegiesUpdate global access materials (IAS, value proposition, payer objection handler, negotiation pathway, etc.) based on market insights and competitor dynamicsCollaborating with other GMAP functions such as Pricing and HTA Strategy as well as GHEOR, Global Business Intelligence, Government Affairs, Global Marketing, Global Commercial Development, Global Medical Affairs and complimentary Area & Affiliate Functions, to ensure solid understanding of global payer markets and emerging stakeholders in the reimbursement areasLeading project management with regards to purchasing support, opening of POs; ensuring appropriate documentation is in place in line with company procedures and storage of pertinent documents to assigned projects

 

Qualifications
More than 5 years of direct biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry experience and/or payer experienceStrong interest in clinical and health economic dataProven track record of being able to successfully interact with all levels of area, affiliate and internal authority across divisions (including Global Commercial Leaders, Forecasting, Clinical Development, HEOR, Medical Affairs and Regulatory, as well as peer equivalents in other market access teams and the market access community as a whole).The candidate must possess strong leadership, intrapersonal, critical thinking and analytical skills to work with a variety of groups in ensuring that the strategic direction for market access and pricing is in balance with the market as well as corporate goals.The candidate must be sensitive to cultural and market differences as they will interact and travel to multiple countries in their role.Relevant global payer and access experienceEducation: B.A./B.S. required; Advanced degree (PharmD, MBA, PhD) in a scientific or economic area nice to have

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong clinical and disease area knowledgeExperience in payer trends, evaluating drivers of market access successKnowledge of pricing policy & regulations and healthcare in key marketsUnderstanding of regulatory agency requirements or policies that govern market approval, and the impact on reimbursement decisions
