This role will work a hybrid schedule at either our Cedar Rapids, IA facility or Richardson, TX facility.

What You Will Do

Support scheduling activities for high-risk programs, ensuring alignment with contractual objectives

Utilize expertise in earned value management and scheduling tools (SAP, SSI, Microsoft products) to monitor and report performance

Resolve complex issues and contribute to the development of scheduling standards and techniques

Coordinate integrated master plans and schedules across functional groups to meet program objectives

Conduct schedule risk assessments and utilize project management techniques to track progress and identify variances

Develop IMP/IMS models independently from proposal documents and ensure compliance with project requirements

Lead training initiatives for program specialists and junior schedulers, ensuring proficiency in scheduling practices

Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered an expert in the field within the organization

All Statement of Work (SOW) discrete scope is modeled in the IMS. Assist program teams in developing WBS in accordance with MIL-STD-881

Application of company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure plans and schedules are compliant.

Understands and complies with requirements in DI-MGMT-81861B/C, DCMA Schedule Assessment Guide and Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide

Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards, with a focus on compliance and effective resolution of issues

Travel up to 15%.

Qualifications You Must Have 

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Able to obtain DOD security clearance.

Experience with Microsoft Project

Prior government contract experience preferred

Understanding of Earned Value Concepts

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (Accounting / Finance)

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
