This role will oversee the inside sales and retention teams for all three market areas housed in our Tupelo, MS office. These market areas include: Gulf Coast, Florida, and South Atlantic. This person will need to be in the office every day, and therefore, must be local to the Tupelo area.
I. Job Summary
This role is a corporate level position responsible for the strategic direction of our inside sales teams. This role will review and evaluate the team performance, ensuring that each team meets or exceeds their revenue goal. In addition, this role is responsible for all communication to the group and market area leadership, ensuring the corporate and market area strategies align. This role will center on leadership and coaching to improve sales performance and execution on the sales process focused on a creating a customer-centric growth mindset for the reps and supporting WM’s sales objectives. Primary responsibilities are to share insights, engage in conversations that diagnose and create value for the supervisors and reps. Additionally, the Senior Manager role should use data to course correct, coach to process priorities, connect and follow up with direct reports. The hiring and retention of WM employees is a critical role for their respective teams, while reporting directly to the Director, Corporate Sales.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develops and implements long range goals and objectives which promotes the achievement of assigned revenue goals
Provides strategic direction and partnership to Inside Sales Managers and Supervisors to support consistent execution and performance
Ensures a world class customer service experience in all areas of the sales cycle
Ensures the achievement of activity, objective and financial metrics including, but not limited to; calls, proposals generated, sales, etc.
Communicates and maintains strong business relationship to all supported Market Areas
Initiates frequent touchpoints with area leadership to ensure full engagement of the management team to effectively ignite and transform the team to professionally represent WM and achieve the results expected
Responsible for the leadership development, succession planning, top grading of talent and building an elite team of sales professionals within the Inside sales roles (rep) and management and supervisory positions to support Company objectives
Inform and educate management on issues affecting the performance of their teams including but not limited to (systems, telephonic platforms, 3rd party vendor interactions, staffing models, contingency workforce, recruitment, employee retention, WM Way certifications, channel performance and interdepartmental relations)
Ensures all staffing levels are achieved and maintained within budget guidelines
Guides managers through the execution of programs, and when necessary, provides direction for modification in work plan or implementation of contingency plans in accordance with prevailing business conditions
Serve as a key partner in developing and executing best practices for retention (lost revenue and defection) and new business (new revenue and addition) strategies
Champions a high-performance culture by reinforcing office cadence, engagement rhythms, and team recognition, in partnership with frontline leaders
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of supervisory employees. This includes:
Indirect supervision of at least 80 full-time employees.
IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in management or leadership positions (in addition to education requirement).
