The Director of Inside Sales leads and manages a team of internal sales representatives and supervisors to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and develop sales strategies. They focus on building a high-performing team, setting clear goals, and improving sales processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Oversee key aspects of business operations at the Hoffman Estates facility.
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction, tracking sales metrics, and reporting on performance.
+ Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
+ Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
+ Analyze sales data, forecast revenue, and report results to executive leadership.
+ Identify market opportunities and stay current on industry trends and competitor activity.
+ Establish and manage budgets, quotas, and incentive programs
+ Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
+ Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent.

+ Partner with corporate learning on leadership training
+ Support the Senior Director on various tasks and projects
+ Develop and grow talented inside sales supervisors to deliver and surpass company growth initiatives.
+ Evaluate and improve sales operational workflows and processes.
+ Serve as the go-to liaison between inside sales and technical operations to resolve issues and align priorities.
+ Drive continuous improvement through performance reviews, root-cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
+ Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the team/market, aligning with company goals.
+ Consistent coaching, development, and accountability to ensure selling processes, strategies, and initiatives are executed with quality and efficiency to grow and retain sales.

**Qualifications**

+ Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience managing an inside sales organization, preferably in the education industry.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
+ Proven leadership experience in an inside sales operation.
+ Experience developing sales reps and supervisors.
+ Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
+ Work with a strong sense of urgency.
+ Ability to analyze data and drive sales
+ Previous experience forecasting sales revenue.
