The Director of Inside Sales leads and manages a team of internal sales representatives and supervisors to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and develop sales strategies. They focus on building a high-performing team, setting clear goals, and improving sales processes. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee key aspects of business operations at the Hoffman Estates facility.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction, tracking sales metrics, and reporting on performance.

Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.

Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Analyze sales data, forecast revenue, and report results to executive leadership.

Identify market opportunities and stay current on industry trends and competitor activity.

Establish and manage budgets, quotas, and incentive programs

Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent.

Identify market opportunities and stay current on industry trends and competitor activity.

Partner with corporate learning on leadership training

Support the Senior Director on various tasks and projects

Develop and grow talented inside sales supervisors to deliver and surpass company growth initiatives.

Evaluate and improve sales operational workflows and processes.

Serve as the go-to liaison between inside sales and technical operations to resolve issues and align priorities.

Drive continuous improvement through performance reviews, root-cause analysis, and corrective action plans.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the team/market, aligning with company goals.

Consistent coaching, development, and accountability to ensure selling processes, strategies, and initiatives are executed with quality and efficiency to grow and retain sales.

Qualifications

HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)

Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience managing an inside sales organization, preferably in the education industry.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Proven leadership experience in an inside sales operation.

Experience developing sales reps and supervisors.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Work with a strong sense of urgency.

Ability to analyze data and drive sales

Previous experience forecasting sales revenue.
