Senior Manager, Incident and Issue Management
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Control Advisory team at Mercer Super. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
Oversee the collection and analysis of quality incident data and trends, providing insights to relevant forums and stakeholders.Facilitate the incident management process via GRC, ensuring workflows are monitored and investigations are supported effectively. Collaborate with key stakeholders across lines of defence to coordinate the verification of breach reports submitted to regulators, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.Review and ensure the comprehensiveness of root cause analyses and remediation/action plans, guiding the team on best practices.Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on incidents, issues, and near misses to promote a culture of proactive risk management.What you need to have:
Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.5-7 years of experience in risk, compliance, and risk management within the superannuation and wider financial services industries.Current understanding of superannuation business activities/products associated regulations and guidance (e.g., APRA guidance, ASIC Regulatory Guides).Experience with GRC systems and incident management or remediation roles within the superannuation industry.Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and process-driven thinking.What makes you stand out:
