Senior Manager, Heinz Global Packaging Innovation

As part of Global Innovation, you'll play a key role in shaping both what we offer to consumers and how we bring it to market, driving groundbreaking innovation that transforms Kraft Heinz and the food industry as a whole.

This role will sit in the Growth Office on the Global Innovation team and be responsible for pioneering new agile innovation methodologies to bring consumer driven innovation to market. The Senior Manager will lead a focused cross-functional team charged with bringing new products to life under our flagship Heinz brand that are relevant to consumers globally and can be scaled for significant impact.

This position requires a candidate who is a self-starter, strategic thinker, and creative problem solver. Our approach to innovation is new within the growth organization so the individual needs to be flexible, have a growth mindset, and be comfortable with ambiguity. This role will require a high level of collaboration with the business units and a global cross-functional team to develop the strategy and execute the launch. This individual will support end-to-end direction, from vision and pipeline creation to product development, in-market testing and launch. Key Ingredients: Lead a dedicated agile pod team of 8 cross-functional members, focused on launching Heinz packaging innovation for emerging markets at Kraft Heinz Manage global stakeholders throughout the innovation lifecycle, from alignment with the innovation vision to the delivery of impactful results for the markets Lead key initiatives, including strategic vision and pipeline creation, opportunity sizing, development and execution of the proposition Develop and implement learning experiments to test and iterate solutions with consumers and retailers Support consumer validation, market testing and planning to scale launch Champion design thinking and scrum methodologies across KHC Lead the P&L, competitive analysis and retailer sell-in materials (in partnership with the business unit) Recipe for Success: Apply if it sounds like you: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 5+ years of experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG/FMCG company with a consistent track record of successfully launching new products and initiatives from concept inception to in-market execution Experience in both employee management & cross-functional team management; self-confident individual who can lead a team and work collaboratively Global/international experience a plus; we're a transatlantic team that collaborates across time zones – flexibility and adaptability are key to our success Brings a consumer-obsessed attitude fueled by a passion for innovation, with the grit and resilience to drive bold ideas and deliver solutions that delight consumers Demonstrates the ability to influence teams effectively and has experience handling multiple stakeholders Critical thinker with the ability to simplify complex problems and make decisions quickly in pursuit of constant forward progress; knows how and when to make calculated risks to achieve innovative solutions Excellent strategic and analytical skills; ability to use syndicated data sources to assess competitive space, bringing forth insights and recommendations to integrate into overall strategy Ability to balance strong “big picture” perspective, while also delivering the innovation initiative at hand Excels in fast-paced, often ambiguous environments, with a bias for action Possesses excellent organizational and project management skills and can prioritize their own and their Agile Pod Team’s tasks effectively to meet deadlines Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills to internal/external partners Proven understanding of Financial P&L What we offer you / You deserve An ambitious employer: we want to be the best for you; A fast career track only few other companies can match; Reimbursement for commuting costs Hybrid working model Discount on health insurance and gym membership Always room for new ideas; if you have an excellent idea, please let us know, and we can set it into action!
