What You Will Do
The Senior Manager, GQO Accounting and Financial Compliance will oversee the Group’s financial compliance and internal control programs, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP and Stryker’s global accounting policies. This role involves collaboration with various teams to maintain a robust internal control environment and support financial compliance initiatives.
You will support GQO’s (Global Quality Organization) accounting and finance organization to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, local statutory reporting requirements, and Stryker’s global accounting policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating and adhering to these global accounting policies, serving as a key contact for GQO in proposing and evaluating enhancements to such policies.
Work closely with members of Stryker’s global accounting and finance organization, Stryker’s Finance, Training and Development (FTD) team, and the GQO franchises in supporting Stryker’s initiatives in overall training for applicable accounting policy and guidance.
Lead efforts related to Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including maintaining the ICFR framework, assessing risks, identifying and documenting controls, providing training, and using ERP systems for SOX compliance. Collaborate with Internal Audit and external auditors to ensure an efficient, risk-based assessment of ICFR and coordinate their auditing procedures.
Responsible for both business process and IT controls globally for GQO, including disparate business processes and multiple ERP systems and will work cross-functionally to identify and implement best practices and process improvements as well as remediation measures to resolve control deficiencies.
There are ~40 manufacturing sites within the GQO organization. This role will lead compliance and ICFR initiatives for certain franchises and functions across the network, teaming with site and divisional finance leaders to ensure a sound internal control environment and enhance control processes and further develop a common control environment.
As a leader of financial policy and accounting for GQO, this role will be responsible for end to end financial compliance and ICFR.
Oversee all GQO activities related to risk assessments, compliance with ledgers, intercompany management, internal control remediation, M&A integration controls, legal entity management, tax strategy, financial reporting systems, and various financial metrics (e.g., unrealized profit in inventory, goods in transit, unbilled receivables/payables, aged CIP). Provide accounting support to Divisional Finance Leaders and regularly interact with GQO Controllers to maintain a robust internal control and compliance environment."

$115,600 - $245,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
