Essential Responsibilities
The senior manager, Global Tax Planning, will be a strategic leader responsible managing global tax planning process for all domestic and international operations, while establishing and maintaining strong internal controls. The role will be reporting directly to the head of tax and subsidies, and directly involved with leading the company’s tax planning and structuring, all non-US tax structuring and planning and local country tax minimization strategies, and mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for tax.
Other Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and lead federal, state, local, and international research and tax planning strategies.
• Monitor federal, state, international and OECD legislative and statutory tax changes and evaluate the potential impact to the Company.
• Lead tax mergers and acquisitions, divestiture, creating standard processes to streamline process
• Assist with local country tax minimization strategies, structures, and entity rationalization.
• Risk identification and mitigation, working with global tax team to come up with strategic countermeasures.
• Partner with transfer pricing, income tax accounting and reporting team to provide sound reporting for financial statement, including uncertain tax positions, global income tax account roll forward and reconciliation.
• Lead interface with business partners with respect to the tax planning.
• Interface with business segments on federal, state & local and international income tax related issues when needed.
• Monitor, analyze, and advocate on tax legislative and regulatory developments
• Manage and coordinate with outside tax advisors to drive tax planning, structuring, and compliance agenda.
• Manage relationships with outside tax advisors (accounting and tax counsel) and other
professionals related to tax matters.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant tax and management experience
• Ideal background will be a blend of experience in public accounting and with a publicly
traded global corporation.
• Experience in US Taxation of International operations
• Some experience or working knowledge of global tax accounting and reporting or compliance
• Strong technical acumen.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.
• Strong reputation as a builder and leader of a global tax function.
EDUCATION
• An undergraduate degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. CPA or CA
certification is required, active license is preferred.

Expected Salary Range
$119,300.00 - $225,900.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
