**Position Summary**
The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing, Portfolio Strategy will play a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and managing our product portfolio strategy across a diverse global market footprint. This position is essential for crystallizing and deploying the global marketing and commercial practices necessary for sustained long-term value creation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven history of strategic thinking, robust analytical capabilities, and a strong ability to foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance portfolio performance while aligning with broader business objectives. A blend of global strategic insight and operational experience within markets is crucial for success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Portfolio Strategy (50%)**
+ Collaborate with the Director of Portfolio Strategy to execute an innovative and forward-thinking portfolio management strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term vision and available market opportunities.
+ Analyze market trends to provide insights and recommendations for future product development and portfolio adjustments.
+ Support strategic initiatives to optimize the product mix and maximize overall market presence.
**Portfolio Management (30%)**
+ Lead the governance of ACUVUE product portfolio, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market exit, ensuring that all products and product changes align with customer needs, market dynamics, the strategic roadmap, and business goals.
+ Serve as ACUVUE contact lens lead in portfolio management reviews, leverage understand of macro trends to set and drive agenda with cross functional portfolio leaders.
+ Develop and manage packaging strategies that align with brand identity, portfolio evolution, and global execution model.
+ Utilize data-driven insights to assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities for enhancement or rationalization.
**Global Success Models (20%)**
+ Facilitate the effective translation of successful practices across varied markets by leveraging established models and frameworks.
+ Organize successful practices ensuring alignment with the ACUVUE Vision and Purpose while mapping to financial goals. Create a go-to-market activation scorecard and model by market cluster.
+ Disseminate insights and learnings from both successful and failed practices to regional teams and global functions, enhancing both market execution and global strategy formulation.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant business experience is required. A minimum of three (3) years of marketing experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Pharmaceuticals, and/or Medical Devices is strongly preferred.
+ Experience in one or more of the following areas: global marketing, new product development, portfolio management, in-market/operational marketing, and/or other commercial experience is required.
+ Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to develop actionable plans and roadmaps is required.
+ Mindset for continuous improvement and implementing best practices is required.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision making.
+ Demonstrated ability to be agile and innovative in thinking and approach.
+ High motivation, self-confidence, and effectiveness at operating in an independent environment while balancing multiple priorities.
+ Up to 20% travel may be required.
