About the Role
Responsible for supporting head of general insurance (non-medical) underwriting department to devise and implement effective pricing control measuresResponsibilities:
Support head of general insurance (non-medical) underwriting department to devise and implement effective pricing control measures;Act as personal-line product underwriting head cross all sales channels;Strive for business growth and profitability with technical underwriting knowledge;Ensure customer service standards in terms of timeliness and accuracy of underwriting services are met;Provide support on ongoing product development and revamp processes assigned;Contribute to specification and development ad-hoc projects with IT and other internal/external parties;Train up subordinates in both quantitative and qualitative risk assessment skills; andRegister and maintain as an insurance agent of Blue Cross with regulatory authority. Advise on or arrange contracts of insurance or carry out regulated activities if required.Requirements:
University graduate or above;10-year relevant working experience with minimum 5 years at managerial level;Excellent knowledge of general insurance underwriting on personal line productsFulfillment of the fit and proper criteria of the Insurance Authority and / or the Insurance Agents Registration Board (IARB) for registration as an individual agent of the Company, and the minimum qualifications requirements, including but not limited to passes in IIQE Paper 1, 2 & 3;Good command of written and spoken English and ChineseCII / ANZIIF qualification; andExcellent PC knowledge (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
