About the Role

The Functional Specialist role drives system and process excellence across Performance, Rewards & the Core Human Resources (HR) processes. The role is expected to foster a culture of innovation within these HR functional areas by leveraging data-driven insights and implementing innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary functional owner for Workday Core HCM and/or Advance Compensation Module.

Define and maintain the Global HR processes within Workday, ensuring scalability and compliance.

Contribute to the improvement of Performance, Rewards & Core HR processes by identifying areas for enhancement and innovation.

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand business needs and objectives, translating them into actionable projects or enhancement.

Assist in designing and implementing innovative solutions and process improvements to HR process efficiency.

Help in regularly assessing current HR Global Processes to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.

Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in HR to support ongoing improvement efforts.

Work closely with the Process Lead for fostering an environment of innovation by encouraging creative thinking, experimentation, and knowledge sharing.

Providing support to team members and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of innovative initiatives.

Providing support to the annual salary review process.

Key Stakeholders

Works with the Project Experience and Change Teamto incorporate innovation into change management strategies.

Works with the People Analytics Team to leverage data insights for innovation projects.

Works with the BAU and Governance Team to ensure that BAU processes support innovation goals.

Engages with HRIT to implement innovative solutions for performance, rewards, talent management, and learning processes

Engages with HR Business Partners to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within their respective business areas.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or other relevant degree.

Minimum 10 to 15 years of working experience.

Hand-on experience with Workday Core HCM or Workday Advance Compensation module.

Experience in Agile Project Management and Change Management.

Understand HR Process and the Employee Lifecycle.
