Overview This role supports PepsiCo Foods long term growth by driving innovation and portfolio strategy, with a focus on 1) Fast-forward innovation solutions and capabilities for strategic platforms, by leading cross-functional SLAM team and fostering global exchanges as central PMO 2) Decode/design portfolio and category strategy 3) Support designing Foods SDD, AOP and other strategic and transformational agenda Responsibilities 1. Fast-forward innovation solutions and capabilities for strategic platforms, by leading cross-functional SLAM teams and fostering global exchanges as central PMO Define size of prize, picture of success, team resources, key milestones for key innovation agenda Develop and detail out product/technology/business model concepts/MVP backed by consumer insight Create business plan incl. launch roadmap and commercialization/GTM plan Draft scale up roadmap and recalibrate on resources and capabilities needed Actively lead SLAM team by leaning in problem solving, brainstorm, prioritization as well as challenging status quo and running pressure tests Execute cadence tracking and reporting; Identify potential risks and roadblocks, resolving issues or escalating for timely turnarounds 2. Decode/design portfolio and category strategy Conduct analysis on market dynamics, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes to identify potential gaps and opportunities for new portfolio offerings Leverage data analytics and qualitative insights to stay on top of consumer needs and behaviors changes Support category team to formulate compelling value proposition and mid-long term portfolio strategy and ensure alignment with the overall corporate/commercial vision Support implementation of key portfolio/category initiatives with clear performance metrics 3. Support to design Foods SDD, AOP and other strategic agenda Participate in SDD and AOP process to orchestrate cross-functional workstreams with a focus on category side; Assist with problem solve and business communication Proactively identify new growth opportunities by creative thinking to seed for future breakthrough ideation Develop internal and external strategy related business presentation, incl. but not limited to internal conferences, townhall, and external interview & forums Demonstrate strong influence management and provide day-to-day coaching for peers to elevate commercial team strategic capabilities Qualifications BA required; 5-7 years’ experience of top consulting firm preferred; PMO/marketing/commercial experience in consumer goods/retail/internet companies is a big plus Experienced in cross-functional project management, able to drive senior stakeholders and fast-track deliverables with strong ownership Good problem solving intrinsics with analytical skills and clear structured thinking to define problems and frameworks Bright, self-driven, and intellectually curious thinker who is passionate about consumer goods and innovations Very strong English communication and business presentation skills, with high attention to details Differentiating Competencies Required: Collaborative with certain cultural sensitivity to lead cross-functional discussions Strategic thinking with top-down and longer-term mindsets Efficient and effective operation capability in a matrixed environment
