Senior Manager, Financial Analysis

This role will assist in the planning and analysis of the revenue organization at SS&C.  You will work across all business units to design and build data models, create forecasts, analyze trends to provide insights to sales leadership, and work within a fast-paced team.

What You Will Get to Do:

Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, business, and marketingCreates financial models of “what if” scenarios for future business planning decisions related to driving new revenue for the organizationAnalyze profitability of clients to identify areas for improvement and new sales opportunitiesDevelop and track metrics related to salesperson ROIManage collection, production, and distribution of various sales and client data to develop analyticsWork within the database and visualization tools to build new analytics and reports (end-user, no coding required)Work across various business units to collect data, with an understanding of trends and contextAbility to lead complex or high profile projects that require a broad perspective, conceptual thinking, and in-depth analysis to identify solutions and make recommendationsAssist in the production of presentation decks for senior managementAssist in the design and execution of strategic transformation projects within the sales organizationResponsible for data quality and maintenanceCreate and maintain documentation analysis tasksAssist in additional project work as neededAccountable for completing task assignments and meeting deadlines with quality deliverablesQuickly learn new technologies to effectively execute responsibilities

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related fieldAbility to quickly read and understand profit-and-loss income statementsExperience working with large data setsAdvanced expertise with Microsoft ExcelExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI preferredAnalytical approach to problem solvingExceptional written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding organization and prioritization skillsDemonstrated ability to successfully accomplish responsibilities in high-pressure, high-workload environment to meet deadlinesAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervisionAbility to form effective working relationships with senior executives and sales leadershipComfortable presenting to large groups and senior leadership teamsSuperior attention to detailSound marketing / sales instincts4-6 years’ experience working in Financial Analyst or related role

NY: Salary range for the position: 130,000 USD to 155,000 USD.
