Senior Manager, Finance & Controlling

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITY:

Overall responsibility on External, Capital and Tax reporting, liaison with Auditor on year-end audit. Work closely with Financial Controller & CFO on monthly Closing and Management reporting.

Key coordinator of assigned financials with the team members as well as with respective stakeholder departments ensuring quality data are processed & settled as well as reported.

                                                                                                                                            

Position Responsibilities:

Main focal point of external reporting to the regulator. Keeping on-track on the development of reporting guidelines, ensure quality data submission fully compliant with the regulatory requirements.Being up to date with the solvency regime and involve actively on the capital modeling with CA and CFO. Active monitoring of fund positioning in accordance with the defined solvency threshold. Proactive involvement in monthly closing & management reporting process, especially on the assigned key financials (written premium, compensation, claims, etc.). Create bridging communication between business stakeholders and Controller’s team delivering efficient closing deliverables.Full collaboration with Tax agent on timely & accurate submission of tax filings, liaison with IRD on critical tax compliance matters.Oversee annual audit scope, laydown smooth audit procedure with internal auditees. Key contact persons of audit findings in escalating to CFO and senior management.

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, EconomicsCPA, ACCA qualification holderMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar set up as senior Finance leader.Strong track record of project experience, data analytics and financial skills (i.e., deliverables achieved in a timely and budgeted manner).Prior team management exposure is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrate willingness to develop analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be proficient in English and Burmese LanguagesProficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Power-point and advance MS Excel skillMust have good attitude, teamwork, and good interpersonal skillsWillingness to learn in building a deep knowledge foundation of Life insurance
