Senior Manager, Finance, Global Business Services **Requisition ID:** 232832 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing environment. **Senior Manager, Finance, Global Business Services** **Level 8.1** **Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm / Saturdays 4 hours upon request** **Purpose** Lead and supervise the Finance / Support area, guarantee that business strategies, plans and initiatives are carried out or complied with in accordance with current internal rules, policies and procedures. Under its responsibility are the functions of Financial Planning and Treasury, as well as a high level of guidance with the accounting department. Within Financial Planning, is responsible for the preparation, management and execution of the company's budget, as well as the interaction with the different units that receive services and report to the corporate office. Also is responsible for attending to the internal and external financial information requirements and analysis necessary for the company's decision-making. Within Treasury, must manage the Cash Flow, plan resources for the payment of investments, ensure proper management of the funds, transactions with foreign currency and the relationship with the banks. Accounting must ensure the correct implementation of the billing policy and development of tools and processes to track expenses. **Accountabilities** : • Lead and promote the customer-focused culture at the level of the entire team in charge, with a view of intensifying customer relationships and leveraging Bank relationships, systems and knowledge in general • According to Global Operations Finance, implement policies, reports and recommendations established by the Bank. Under this guidance, be the point of contact with Global Operations Finance for financial reports, presentation of Forecast and Budget and any other alignment required by Global Operations Finance • FP&A 1. Preparation, control, implementation and monitoring of the budget, as well as reports and analysis necessary for decision making 2. Management of relationships with strategic partners in financial matters 3. Consolidation and preparation of internal and external reports related to the company's financial Analysis 4. Financial support in the implementation of new business units 5. Interaction with headquarters in financial matters 6. Ensuring correct implementation of billing policy • Treasury 1. Cash Flow Management, including resource planning, project resource tracking, request for financing needs and efficient resource management 2. Management of the relationship with banks 3. Management of corporate credit cards 4. Development of foreign currency operations 5. Strategic decision making • Tax Supervision of the Tax Department through the standardization of process and control of the tax return submissions. Align GBS risk management culture with policies, guidelines and priorities established by Scotiabank TPRM. Understand how the appetite for risk and risk culture of the Bank should be considered in daily activities and decisions.
