Job Description
The Field Tools & Analytics Manager/ Senior Manager role facilitates and leads the collaboration efforts needed for the success of field tools. The Manager/ Senior Manager oversees the support team and executes appropriate communications to our field/marketing colleagues and home office employees while continuously contributing creative ideas. This role also acts as a liaison between Franchise Teams, Commercial Operations, Center of Excellence, IT, Training, OEC, and Legal. The position influences cross-functional teams to create and evaluate field tools.
The position is part of the Field Planning & Analytics Team, which drives field force effectiveness by optimizing our sales force size and structure, ensuring our IC designs drive the right behavior, and ensuring our call plans, field tools, and operations provide our field teams with what they need for business success in their markets. This position reports to the Team Leader.
Responsibilities:
Franchise Management
Subject Matter Expert (SME) and central point of contact for Oncology: Franchise A field tools, including supporting the onboarding of new sales franchise teams, new hires, and transfers to the field.Proactively partner with business stakeholders to review, discuss, and prioritize system enhancement and business process improvement recommendations.Operations Management: Support weekly and monthly tool updates as needed. Collaborate with Targeting, IC Teams, and development teams on data methodology, approach, framing, enhancements, field feedback, and new requests.System Management
Drive design, deployment, training, communications, and management of field tools, data validation, field customer service, and sales force analytics.Work closely with BTS, MABI, Field Training, and Franchise teams to partner in the design, deployment, training, maintenance, and communications of field-facing solutions.Demonstrate subject matter expertise relating to AbbVie business rules, processes, and all field tools. Proactively recommend improvements to streamline current processes and reduce cycle time.Leverage the field network in co-creation of new processes and solutions.Communications and Training
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in conjunction with national sales managers and training team members to identify training/education and communications opportunities to enhance system usage.Partner with key stakeholders to define and manage the deployment approach, with updates to increase awareness and improve system usage.Present at sales force team calls, provide support during field meetings, assist in facilitating focus groups, and present system capabilities to key internal stakeholders.Customer Relationship Management
Create and maintain a wide and deep network of relationships with senior sales stakeholders, including VPs, Sales Directors, Analytics leadership, and Field Planning & Analytics.Be viewed as a trusted partner and establish credibility with field sales management and functional support teams; be able to influence key stakeholders to gain approval on strategic initiatives.Effectively manage vendor partnerships (timelines, budget, communications) on specific projects and initiatives.Qualifications
BA, BS degree required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts.Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, marketing or sales operations, or information technology.3+ years of analytical and/or commercial operations experience required, preferably in the healthcare industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, compliance regulations, and standards.Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously with a sense of urgency.Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult concepts to a broad client base, including senior leadership, sales leadership, and other high-level contacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce/Veeva CRM Proficiency: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Salesforce or Veeva CRM systems for managing customer relations and sales force automation.Data Analytics Tools: Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for visualizing sales data and generating insights.Database Management: Proficiency in SQL or other database management systems for querying and manipulating large datasets.Programming Languages: Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.Additional Information

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
