**The Role**
The Senior Manager of Essentials Program Management is responsible for supporting program and change management across Hyatt’s Essentials brand portfolio and leadership team.
· **Strategic Alignment:** Supports the evolution of the Essentials portfolio and brand strategic behavioral outcomes; aligns teams and team members towards shared business impacts and guides teams through goal-setting activities.
· **Senior Leadership Team Support:** Serves as a trusted advisor and partner to the senior leadership team; supports cross-functional tasks and supports team cohesion. Special initiatives and cross-functional projects
· **Program Management:** Supports alignment of key projects and workstreams to strategic outcomes; manages Essentials portfolio governance and prioritization processes.
· **Workstream Support:** Supports Business Leads to establish output scope (outcomes, deliverables, schedule, staffing, KPIs, etc) and align support for high-priority organizational initiatives
· **Risk Management:** Manages issues, risks, and dependencies across the Essentials portfolio of workstreams; anticipates and resolves roadblocks and identifies opportunities to maximize shared resources.
· **Platform Management:** Administers and improves program and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) across and beyond the Essentials portfolio; leverages AI, automation, and integration to boost efficiency.
· **Tools Optimization:** Maintains and optimizes internal productivity, communication, and feedback tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, HyattConnect, Qualtrics, Mural); provides training for all team members.
· **Learning & Development:** Provides formal and informal training and development opportunities, and promotes enterprise program management best practices and Hyatt Ways of Working.
· **Change Management & Communication:** Works with organization leaders and change management specialists to develop a change management strategy and execute change management and communication campaigns
· **Stakeholder Management** : Builds relationships with key partners – including Development, Design Services, Operations, and Commercial Services to ensure alignment and delivery of key programs and workstreams.
**Qualifications:**
**Experience Required:**
•7 years of experience leading enterprise operations or technology projects, or portfolios
•Experience in corporate/franchise/multi-unit hotel operations or project management
•Internal or external consulting experience
•Experience in program management or operations as part of a start-up or high-growth product team
**Experience Preferred:**
•4-year college degree
• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
•Project Management Professional (PMP) / Program Manager (PgMP) or equivalent
•Highly proficient in Smartsheet or equivalent project management software

_The salary range for this position is $117,800 to $160,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate._
