What is the opportunity?
As part of the Group Risk Management (GRM) Enterprise Issue Management (EIM) Office, the Senior Manager, Enterprise Issues Management will support the day-to-day coordination, data quality, reporting activities, for EIM. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the three lines of defense, specifically with partners in Risk, IT, Compliance, and Internal Audit to help ensure the EIM system and processes are operating smoothly and aligned with Policy/ Standard expectations.
A recent multi-year bank-wide program established a new single EIM system. To ensure continued evolution of issues management a new team (EIM Office) is being established to:
• Ensure ongoing evolution of Issues management methodology and tooling
• Provide ongoing training and support on new policy and standard
• Drive issue quality monitoring and control
• Provide operational support for both system and issue reporting.
• Facilitate change prioritization
• Design of prioritized changes working closely with all stakeholders
• Drive organization change management to all impacted stakeholders
What will you do?
Issue QualitySupport ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the EIM system and related workflowsAssist with data quality reviews and follow-up with stakeholders to address gapsManage KPIs for the EIM Office to support outcome-based reporting on issue qualityMaintain EIM Office documentation, including procedure, processes, and decision logsIssue Management EducationSupport with the development of targeted learning and communication across all lines of defense to support effective execution of requirements in Issue Management Policy and StandardRespond to general inquiries and support stakeholder engagement across the enterpriseMethodologySupport with the updating the EIM Policy and Standard to ensure the documents continue to drive effective and efficient risk management across all lines of defense in line with leading industry practices, and meet the expectations of RBC’s external regulatorsSupport with the monitoring of policy adherence, including the creation of analytics and escalating non-adherence through appropriate governance channels.What do you need to succeed?
