The Senior Manager of Enterprise Insights will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven strategies founded by deep insights of our business operations and workforce. This role requires an individual who is hungry to solve abstract business problems using a high degree of detail precision. The ideal candidate has previous experience managing analysts and project teams and has a demonstrable ability to dive headfirst into and successfully navigate complex business goals. Responsibilities Lead the Enterprise Insights team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth. Utilize data-driven insights to develop and implement comprehensive strategies that support business goals and improve decision-making across departments including: recruiting, HR, finance, operations, and technology. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that provide actionable insights into business & systems performance. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI and analytics systems. Recommend and prese nt findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance BI capabilities. Continually build efficiencies and automations to create industry-leading execution time from opportunity discovery to operational response Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or Information Science (Graduate Degree Preferred) 5-8 years of similar work experience, preferably in tech, healthcare, or retail 2-5 years of experience managing a team of business-facing analysts Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail Outstanding, documented skills in Excel; proficiency in SQL, Python Fully in-office role in Birmingham, AL Role Competencies People Leadership Directly supervises, hires, trains, and develops large org that balances and supports multiple business lanes and competing priorities Directly sources and mobilizes teammate talent across SVP Deep understanding of SVP department goals, outputs, and interconnectivity Active participant and helping SVP execute and strategize on priorities, risks, and opportunities Communication Handles majority of communications with sister departments, and virtually all communication with internal and external n-1 teammates Frequent communication, interaction, and presentation with n+2 teammates Regular communication, interaction, and presentation with external vendors and 3rd party groups Regular communication, interaction, and presentation with Field Leaders and teammates Problem-Solving Full subject matter expertise and autonomy for all processes, systems, and supported departments under team umbrella Ability to answer questions, create analyses, and provide recommendations up to an executive level with minimal n+1 support Responsible for setting up processes and technical solutions for new programs and supported departments Quality Proactively maintained team task lists, priorities, scope of work, opportunity costs Problem/opportunity identification and planning for adjacent business lanes Autonomous problem-solving -> often requiring new technical solutions Infallible quality level of data outputs and calculations Peer-reviewed recommendations and analyses Receives direct requests for support from adjacent departments WAG Values Leads with respect, integrity, and accountability Treats others with empathy and respect Exemplifies and leads the team to align with WAG values Collaborates with team to focus on solutions Finds a way to say yes Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2024.
