The Senior Manager, Employer Branding, is responsible for developing and executing a compelling employer brand strategy that attracts, engages and retains top talent. The Senior Manager will lead cross functional marketing initiatives to position our company as an employer of choice – amplifying culture, values and experience through internal and external channels.

This role will shape how GEICO is perceived by prospective and current talent and will showcase our company, culture, rewards and great careers in a compelling way.

The Senior Manager of Employer Branding is a member of the associate experience team, partnering closely with talent acquisition, marketing, social media and communications to ensure brand consistency and measurable impact across recruitment, social media, content creation and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities:

This role will directly influence how internal and external stakeholders see us as an employer. By creating an authentic and compelling digital presence, this role will help GEICO stand out in a competitive job market.

Overseeing the implementation of GEICO’s associate value proposition and the GEICO Pledge within recruitment and retention efforts.Creating and executing plans to enhance GEICO’s position as an employer of choice, including social media content, recruitment marketing campaigns, recruitment materials and more.Overseeing the company's online presence on career sites, social media such as Handshake, Glassdoor and LinkedIn, and job boards, ensuring a consistent and positive image.Act as a strategic advisor and partner in other departments on specific content strategies to achieve functional or campaign objectivesStay on top of current employer branding best practices, emerging social media trends and competitor activity to ensure GEICO is staying competitive with industry peers.Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employer branding, such as cost per hire, employee engagement, and candidate satisfaction.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Integrated Marketing or equivalent8-10 years of content development experience, preferably in financial services or other large consumer brandsMinimum of 3 years’ digital marketing experienceStrong understanding of employer branding principles and best practices.Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven leadership and team management skills.

This is a hybrid role, in our Chicago Office 3x a week

Annual Salary

$115,825.00 - $181,425.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
