Senior Manager, Employee Data Management

I. Job Summary 

The Senior Manager, Employee Data Management role is central to shaping how accurate, timely, and actionable employee data drives enterprise-wide HR, payroll, and business decisions. This role will be empowered to modernize data operations, strengthen compliance, and build a high-trust, high-quality data culture.


II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for employee data transactions and lifecycle changes (e.g., hires, transfers, promotions, terminations). Enable the employee data governance strategy, including policy enforcement, audit controls, and data integrity standards. Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Compliance to align data processes across systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, UKG/Kronos). Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Drive the team’s roadmap to shift from transactional case-taking to proactive data enablement and strategic partnership. Oversee the execution of mass data loads, org restructures, acquisitions, and large-scale data projects. Monitor performance metrics, root cause errors, and oversee remediation and quality assurance plans. Lead the development of documentation, training, and business continuity plans for data operations. Act as a subject matter expert on position management, job structures, and organizational hierarchy in HCM systems.

 

III. Qualifications 

A. Required Qualifications 
 

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Management or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant experience. 7 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or employee data management. 3 years of people leadership experience in a complex or matrixed environment.

B. Preferred Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
