Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of cloud products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement cloud-based architectures and solutionsManage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Github Actions, or AnsibleMonitor cloud performance and security, implementing necessary improvementsTroubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issuesEnsure compliance with security policies and best practicesMaintain cloud cost optimization strategiesDocument cloud architectures, processes, and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in cloud computing or a similar roleHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudProficiency in scripting languages (Python, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environmentsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Ansible, CloudFormation, Lambda and Step Functions)Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions)Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting toolsStrong understanding of Agile methodologies
