What is the opportunity?
Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) is the facilitating body for all Data Management Offices for RBC, focused on driving consistency and standardization across the DMOs and the implementation of the Standards of Care.
The Senior Manager, Data Management Enablement will work closely with stakeholders to establish and accelerate data management activities that benefit business opportunities and unlocks the business value of data in a safe and policy adherent manner.
What will you do?
Build and maintain collaborative relationships across the Enterprise. Proactively connect with the DMOs and partners to understand, assess, and prioritize data strategy and data management priorities.Support product management activities for enterprise KPIs, such as roadmap planning, requirements management, collaborating with technology teams to facilitate development, and change management activities with KPI producer and consumersContribute to regular KPI initiatives on progress of data Domains against policy requirements and against the CDO data strategy. Analyze data to generate insights on areas of greatest opportunity for EDMO.Partner with stakeholders to drive consistency of Data Management Offices, drive maturity of data Domains, and lead data governance initiatives such as data retention and destructionEnable execution on updated data management policy requirements, through the Standards of Care.Act as first line of defense reviewer for Data Risk Assessments sponsored by RBC Functions.Support EDMO work activities as required, such as providing input to generate Enterprise and Regional insights, and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate enterprise data management processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance scalability of enterprise data managementWhat do you need to succeed?

Strong stakeholder collaboration skillsAnalysis techniques including definition of business need, assessing capability gaps, determining approach, defining scope and business valueExperience in issue remediation and effective escalation and resolutionExperience in RBC data management and/or risk managementExposure to regulatory responses and remediation, including but not limited to OSFINice-to-have
