Leadership and Collaboration:Develop and execute the Japan data analytics strategy in alignment with global and regional stakeholdersEstablish and oversee governance processes for master data and enterprise reportingBuild and lead a high-performing Data & Analytics team to identify, define, and resolve business problems through data driven insightsImplement and operationalize the governance process for self-service reportingFoster a data-driven culture through user community building, training/certification program creation & execution, and best practice sharing across the organizationBusiness Insights and Reporting:Provide business insights to aid decision-making with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.Clean up and maintain visibility with data and report (e.g. data/report catalog)Operationalize business-critical report ownership of Data & Analytics team, while fostering self-service where requiredProcess Documentation and Improvement:Document and articulate as-is and to-be Data & Analytics processes to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholdersCreate data analytics processes and governance to operationalize enterprise report creation and self-service reporting, designed with sustainability.Ensure that all processes are well-documented and effectively communicated to relevant stakeholdersData Management and Analytics Foundation:Establish a strong data management and analytics foundation, including data governance, data quality, and data integrationImplement best practices for data management and analytics to ensure data integrity and reliabilityDevelop advanced analytics capabilities to enable deeper and more advanced data driven decision making

Education & special trainings:

Minimum of 13 years of professional experience, 7 years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related field.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or related field will be a plusProven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Japanese: primary fluency/bilingual proficiency, English: full professional proficiencyProficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI

Proven leadership skills with the ability to bring various functions together to define and resolve problems.Strong documentation skills to articulate as-is and to-be processes, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.Perseverance and resilience to navigate through challenges and drive projects to successful completion.Experience and passion for building data management and analytics foundations, including governance and process improvements.Expertise in advanced analytics capabilities to support business growth and decision-making.Experience with hosting internal training/certification programs of BI report
