This position will lead sponsorship and partnership strategy for D23 Fan Club initiatives, with a focus on Destination D23 and D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. In addition, it will drive incremental revenue through the development, negotiation, and execution of sponsorships, licensing deals, and strategic collaborations that elevate the fan experience and support long-term business growth. This position will collaborate across our Studios and Corporate D23 teams and report directly to the VP, Marketing Partnerships, Synergy and D23.
This is a 6 month project hire.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sponsorship plans to drive revenue across D23 events and activations, with emphasis on D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026.
Identify and pitch new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts by highlighting the value of the D23 audience and brand.
Collaborate with internal teams across D23, DCCR, and TWDC to ensure seamless strategy alignment and partner integration.
Manage the full lifecycle of partner relationships—including ideation, proposal development, contract negotiation, activation, and ROI measurement.
Deliver creative, multi-platform partner programs spanning digital, editorial, merchandise, and in-person experiences.
Basic Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years sales marketing experience preferably at a studio or ad agency within the film and television industry.
Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team sales goals.
Persuasive, confident networker and deal maker with a track record of success in landing deals and growing partnerships
Superior knowledge regarding the practices and principles related to the sale and implementation of corporate partnerships.
Must be creative, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and have a burning desire to succeed.
Must possess superior negotiation skills coupled with a net profit bottom line mentality.
The hiring range for this position in California is $124,900.00 to $167,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
