If so, come join us and help redefine the Canadian banking landscape! **What you will be doing:** Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Analytics with accountability to the Director of Credit Cards, the Senior Manager, Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending Forecasting & Portfolio Management is accountable for optimizing performance of the Credit Card & Unsecured Lending portfolios through forecasting, analytics, pricing strategy, and product innovation. This role drives strategic initiatives to grow and retain the portfolio, enhance profitability, and evolve product offerings based on client needs, market dynamics, and competitive insights. **Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:** + Portfolio Strategy & Optimization: Lead unsecured lending portfolio strategy, focusing on growth, retention, pricing, and client segmentation. Develop and execute tactics to maximize franchise value and profitability. + Product Performance & Forecasting: Own forecasting models across credit cards and unsecured lending products, incorporating macroeconomic and competitive variables. Monitor key performance indicators and recalibrate strategies to optimize outcomes. + P&L Ownership & Financial Insights: Manage the full P&L, including reporting & FTP. Partner with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Legal and other oversight functions to maintain visibility into portfolio trends and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement. + Analytics & Business Case Development: Conduct deep-dive analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions. Build business cases with market sizing, economics, profitability and ROI projections leveraging statistical techniques to support product enhancements & innovation. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between Unsecured Lending Product Team, Finance, Client Insights, Data Science & Technology teams. Translate insights into actionable strategies and ensure alignment across delivery & execution teams. + Reporting & Executive Communication: Develop, maintain & enhance dashboards and presentations for senior leadership, providing clear insights into performance, trends, and strategic initiatives. + Leadership & Team Development: Contribute to a high-performance environment; leveraging people strategies that attract, retain, develops & motivates talent. Foster an inclusive, coaching-oriented culture focused on growth, accountability, and succession planning. + Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to operational, compliance, AML/ATF sanctions & conduct risk standards in line with Scotiabank’s Code of Conduct and Global Sales Principals. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
