**Job Summary**
The Senior Costing Manager plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the cost structure of outsourced manufacturing operations. This position oversees the financial and operational aspects of third-party manufacturing relationships, ensuring compliance with quality standards, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment with business goals. The role requires strong leadership, analytical acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to drive value across the supply chain.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Cost Management & Analysis**
+ Lead costing activities for contract manufacturing operations, including cost modeling, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
+ Respond to cost and feasibility requests and obtain vendor quotations to support strategic decision-making.
+ **Contract Manufacturing Oversight**
+ Manage relationships with third-party manufacturers, addressing technical issues, schedule conflicts, and quality concerns.
+ Ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
+ **Vendor Evaluation & Selection**
+ Identify and assess potential new contractors, including financial stability and operational capability.
+ Lead vendor selection processes and performance evaluations.
+ **Documentation & Compliance**
+ Coordinate the development and maintenance of contractor manuals and related documentation.
+ Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met across all contract manufacturing activities.
+ **Leadership & Team Development**
+ Provide guidance, training, and performance management for direct reports.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in costing, supply chain, or manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
+ Strong understanding of GMP, cost accounting principles, and vendor management.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
