Senior Manager, Compliance Data Analytics & Monitoring
Compliance partners with GLCR Data Analytics & Automation (GLCR DAA) to maintain a Testing and Data Analytics & Monitoring program designed to provide ongoing surveillance, review and analysis of key risk indicators to identify red flags and potential compliance violations. The role of Senior Manager, Compliance Data Analytics & Monitoring serves as the liaison between Compliance and GLCR DA&A and supports the program by undertaking the following tasks:
+ As Compliance’s representative, partner with GLCR DA&A team to deliver the annual Compliance Testing plan, leveraging existing automation platforms:
+ Provide oversight for overall testing plan by setting up an engagement model with GLCR DA&A team and Local Compliance Officers;
+ Review BRDs to ensure they are specific, appropriate and consistent;
+ Monitor ongoing test statuses and provide feedback to manager and Corporate Compliance, highlighting issues or areas of concern;
+ Provide feedback on the testing process and use of automation tools, and suggest new ways to use automation;
+ Ensure that all documentation for each test is saved in SharePoint; and
+ Provide assistance to GLCR DA&A by participating in performing tests, when necessary and where coordinated with manager and Corporate Compliance.
+ Work with GLCR DA&A to develop, build, and maintain innovative and effective Compliance Monitoring Platforms, and across different LOBs. Deliver results from Platforms on an ongoing basis.
+ On behalf of Compliance, provide oversight for ongoing monitoring/automation activities ensuring all activities are refreshed on defined frequency and results are delivered with high quality.
+ Work with Compliance leadership to ensure the monitoring/automation results are utilized effectively and efficiently.
+ Provide ongoing surveillance, review, and analysis of key risk indicators to identify red flags and potential compliance concerns.
+ Engage with Local Compliance Officers to understand and document their top problem areas. Manage a pipeline of Analytics and Automation requests, providing regular updates to Compliance leadership around status/progress, and making recommendations to Compliance leadership around lessons learned and potential new areas for automation.
+ Mine and analyze large amounts of data from multiple data sources to identify and interpret patterns that are applicable to the Compliance organization. Identify new data sources that can help Compliance.
+ Lead the Training Follow-up Automation process including global campaigns, targeted trainings, and new hire trainings.
+ Lead the annual Code of Conduct Certification response follow-up automation.
+ Perform QA of new tools (KNIME, Power BI, SQL Server, Power Apps, Power Automate) before deployment.
+ Maintain an inventory log of all existing tools (1. Power BI Dashboards, 2. KNIME workflows, 3. Power App/Automate workflows); work with GLCR DA&A team on maintenance and upgrades, as necessary.
Requirements:
+ 5+ years of Compliance Data Analytics experience
+ Insurance industry preferred
+ Experience with Power BI, SQL Server, Power Apps, KNIME, and/or Power Automate ideal
+ Bachelor’s degree
For roles located in New York, the base salary range for this position is $136,000-$165,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
