The Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Commodity Strategy, responsible for the Antenna and Power commodities within the Engineered Items portfolio.

What You Will Do:

Engage cross-functional staff to create program agnostic commodity strategies for use across Raytheon’s existing and future programsAddress part and program specific factors with tailored procurement strategies and integrate them into Material Program PlansDevelop and maintain a portfolio of suppliers to implement the strategy through market research, RFI’s, and strategic sourcing campaignsServe as Raytheon’s supply chain point-of-contact for collaboration with Collins and Pratt & Whitney across your commodities.  This entails aligning strategies across the businesses and creating opportunities with suppliers across RTX.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 8 years' experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Technical (Engineering) experience specifically in antennas, power converters (AC-DC or DC-DC), generators and/or transformers.Business experience with acquisition of products in the areas of antennas, power converters (AC-DC or DC-DC), generators and/or transformers.Experience in multiple functions such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Program Management, Quality, or FinanceStrategic Sourcing experience, including requirements definition, supplier identification, value proposition design, FAR/DFARS contracting constraints, supplier selection, and agreement negotiation.  Strategy development experience, including market research, data analytics, risk & opportunity identification, market segmentation, and business case developmentExperience collaborating with cross functional staff, working in a team environment, and influencing without authorityExcellent communication skills across functions and up/down a hierarchyFlexibility to travel up to one week per quarter

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
