This role is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Global IT Infrastructure Services team, supporting a diverse, worldwide organization. You will collaborate with colleagues across regions to drive cost optimization and accountability for our cloud and infrastructure spend.

KEYS TO SUCCESSEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience required.EXPERIENCE6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud FinOps, financial governance, or business analysis.Demonstrated experience managing cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices at scale.Experience engaging with senior leadership to provide financial guidance and transparency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESStrong discernment and analytical skills with a passion for cost accountability and optimization.Familiarity with the FOCUS areas of the FinOps Foundation (Inform, Optimize, Operate) and ability to apply them in practice.Ability to develop and maintain cost dashboards, tagging policies, and alerts to manage cloud resources effectively.Excellent communication, customer management, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data for technical and business audiences.Proficiency in financial tools, cloud billing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).Experience with M&A integration or GxP systems a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position may require minimal travel (domestic/international). Work is primarily performed in a remote or office environment with standard IT equipment. No unusual physical requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
