Job Description

General Purpose of Role:

Become a recognised leader of change and pristine customer service

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a designated Clinical Customer Focused Team to ensure that goals and objectives of the team are accomplished within prescribed time frames and in budget.  Select, supervise, empower, coach, develop, and retain a team of qualified individuals while partnering with Quality and Operations to ensure that PCI delivers quality products, on time and in full.  Drives project success through active leadership to provide PCI a competitive advantage in long-term customer management.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the leadership of the assigned site Project Management Team.

Coach, develop, and retain a team of qualified individuals through effective employee development, performance management, succession planning, and recognition. Capacity plan and set goals and objectives.

Ensure team financial performance goals are met.  Manage expenses to meet approved budget while achieving departmental commitments and project objectives. Ensure strong alignment and coordination with other Clinical Customer Focused Teams and functional groups.  Collaborate on best practices with other teams and clinical leadership.Facilitate the daily team performance meeting to ensure goals and objectives are met and to build a culture of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement.Support your team in management of strategic, highly complex, large scale, and/or global clinical projects covering Clinical Packaging, Storage, Distribution, or a combination.Promotes continuous improvement in all aspects of PCI Clinical Services, and contributes positively and proactively to the project management team.  Is willing to take a leadership role with process improvement initiatives to support PCIs promise of provide the industry’s leading customer experience.Host and manage customer visits at PCITravel to client sites for new project discussions or quarterly business reviews (ad hoc)Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Specific Qualifications:

Educated to a degree level in a Life Science or Business capacity

Previous Work Experience:

Worked in previous management/Leadership role, ideally in pharmaceutical industry

Specific Knowledge / Skills Competence:

Experience of the pharmaceutical industryIn-depth understanding of clinical trial suppliesAbility to manage and lead a team, including remote team membersHigh reasoning – ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsFull Professional Proficiency in English – ability to speak, read and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs; German is an added plusAbility to travel
