Job Description:
Strong capability to understand and translate company business strategy and customer’s insight into a tangible marketing plan and strategy
Extensive track record as a project manager, leading and delivering both traditional and digital marketing campaigns, especially content and influencer marketing
Proven ability as a self-starter with energy and drive to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment
Experience of the Insurance market, trends and development space is desirable
Ability to leverage fresh, creative, and innovative idea for marketing program development
Able to work in a diverse environment with good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Experience managing agency partners, agency background is an advantage
Excellent written and spoken English
QualificationsUniversity Degree, preferably in business, marketing, media, or communications.
Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in brand management, advertising, creatives, or marketing roles. Preferably a background in inhouse financial services role

Lead Sun Life brand growth strategies, marketing and communication plans to support the Brand Modernization program
Drive innovative, creative, and insights-driven solutions to brand communications
Be the brand champion to safeguard the brand essence across functions
Point of contact for marketing teams across markets to ensure Sun Life brand is promoted cohesively and consistently in all online/offline materials
Provide overall support on Sun Life global brand strategy and programmes
Translate Sun Life brand strategy into brand plan and go-to-market strategy, with passion for capturing clients' attention
Collaborate with local marketing teams to secure buy-in and support for planned regional initiatives, including budget spends
Monitor market trends and translate insights into localized content, messages, and creatives, working seamlessly with the digital marketing team to channel master content across multiple digital/social platforms
Work collaboratively with the CX team to drive all brand-related research in Asia
Analyze and review brand performance across Asia to recommend strategy and plan revisions as required
Push boundaries of what is possible and inspire creative excellence
Partner with Communications & Partnerships team to drive awareness on employee value proposition, philanthropy, and ESG/sustainability
Lead establishment of frameworks and templates for internal/external communications, supporting various functions and ensuring all materials are on-brand
Lead development of marketing project briefs and agency/vendor selection process
Embed CVP and product into brand advertising to drive greater cut-through and relevance to target market
Collaborate with sales team on priorities, campaign planning, and optimization to drive sales outcomes
Align creatives with media planning and optimize formats based on best-performing media for Sun Life
Develop creative strategy and treatment for nurturing and client-facing content
Manage regional creative agency relationships and serve as hub for regional efficiencies

Work closely with broader regional brand team for cohesive messaging and brand positioning
Own the stock image account in Asia and liaise effectively with markets on usage and account management
Lead creative development of corporate gift items
Lead annual brand budgeting and marketing planning
