Join us in building a robust behavioural analytics platform for our consumer-facing LEGO websites and apps, and play a key role in fostering direct, lasting relationships with millions of LEGO fans around the world. _Please note, this role is based in our LEGO Group Headquarters in Billund, Denmark._ **Core Responsibilities** + Lead a team of analytics enablement specialists (Analytics Engineers and Data Visualization developers), providing hands-on technical guidance while empowering your team to grow and thrive. Act as a key driver of team culture, behaviours, and strategy. + Oversee the implementation of user and audience behaviour tracking across digital touchpoints, building scalable data pipelines that connect multiple sources of data and ensuring compliance with our ethical data policies. + Develop and implement a long-term strategy for self-serve analytics in Digital Consumer Engagement, driving the build, maintenance, and adoption of user-friendly analytics tools. Actively drive usage of tools with a wide variety of users, to drive data-driven decision making across the function. + Collaborate with Analytics Business Partners and digital product teams to define and implement a scalable data model and self-serve reporting capabilities, transforming raw data into structured tables and reports. + Partner with the LEGO Data Office and Analytics Enablement leaders to establish standards for data producers and consumers, embedding best practices across digital product teams (data quality, data ownership, documentation and code standards, etc.). + Actively build and engage with a cross-functional data and analytics network to establish standards for data modelling, management, visualization, and documentation. + Maintain an outside-in perspective, fostering the team’s understanding of the newest technologies and methods for handling and analysing large datasets. **Play your part in our team succeeding!** The Data, Analytics & Business Improvement team is an analytics & continuous improvement practice within the LEGO Group’s Digital Consumer Engagement (DCE) function. We focus on building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with consumers and shoppers, and we do this through the ethical and effective use of data. We are looking for an expert analytics enablement leader to guide a dedicated team of specialists in developing our data platform and reporting tools for consumer-facing experiences. This role involves close collaboration with our Data Office, engineers from Digital Product teams, and Analytics Business Partners to convert raw data into a reusable format for analysis and reporting. **Do you have what it takes?** + **Technical Proficiency for Analytics Engineering & BI:** Strong mastery of SQL is essential (Python beneficial), with a passion for analysing large structured and unstructured datasets. + **Leadership Experience:** Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of analytics specialists, fostering their growth in technical fields. + **Proven Business Impact:** A track record of delivering measurable business value to non-technical collaborators through data modelling and intuitive visualizations, facilitating faster decision-making. + **Behavioural Data Analysis:** Demonstrable experience with web and app behavioural data, preferably using Snowplow or Adobe Analytics. + **Dashboard Development & Adoption:** Hands-on experience building and maintaining self-service dashboards (Power BI or similar), driving user adoption. + **Data Transformation & Data Architecture Design:** Passion for converting raw data into structured tables and reports that address common business queries. Hands on experience setting up and maintaining bronze, silver, and gold layers in big data platforms, preferably with Databricks and Apache Spark. Familiarity with GitHub and dbt modelling is important. + **Problem-Solving & Relationship Building:** Comfort with ambiguity, and a natural preference for an environment where you play an active role in defining the solution to complex and undefined problems We're looking for a leader who is proactive and comfortable taking initiative, even without formal authority. This person should also be adept at building collaborative relationships across different areas of an organisation to ensure momentum. + **Communication Skills & Influence:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Able to build trusted working relationships with both technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders, and a demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics to those less familiar with data infrastructure. \#LI-JA1 Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
