Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Analytics, Technology, & Planning is responsible for leading the direction and stability of select ongoing technical applications supporting the sales strategy for the Commercial Sales organization.  This includes responsibility for the design and execution of the AOP volume planning process relative to both the technology solutions and the business processes that enable Sales Quota accuracy at the material level. This also includes validation of the AOP at the lowest grain through collaboration with Finance and Sales leadership. The scope of this role also includes all technology solutions supporting retail trade. The individual plays a critical role as the representative of Commercial Sales to the IT organization in communicating business needs and priorities across the applications where responsible. Cross functional partnerships/constituents include IT, Finance, Sales, Business Operations, RGM and Sales.  The Senior Manager, Sales Technology & Planning, will possess an exceptional level of technical, business, and communication proficiency. The role reports to the Associate Director of Analytics, Technology & Planning.                                                                                             

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Leads the direction of retail trade technology solutions (TPx), providing a competitive advantage for the Retail Commercial Sales teamLeads the AOP volume quota planning process for Commercial Sales ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the volume at the MCC (Material/Customer/Category) level in PalantirExceptional knowledge of relevant industry technology solutions supporting TPx solutionsDevelops KPI metrics for our TPx solution to ensure performance is meeting business needs and the SLA metrics aligned with ITMonitors active tickets, closure and aging of tickets for applications supportedProvides timely and accurate costing for the upgrades of technology solutions to ensure projects are properly funded to support the fiscal year budgeting processPartners effectively with IT leadership to problem solve and influence decision making relative to requests for enhancements and advancements within an agile environmentDevelops and maintains a deep understanding of trade and sales processes to ensure solutions remain relevant and position us to have a competitive advantagePresents resource requests/CIRs to constituents and leadersLeads directly and indirectly with mastery proficiency 1-2 trips per year

Deliverables Include:

Deliver projects on time, on budget, and aligned to business requirementsDrive undeveloped applications to maturity and stability through exceptional supportDevelop, monitor, and ensure accuracy of KPIs related to Trade Application performancePrioritize business-requested enhancements to key applications/systemsDevelop AOP inputs related to technology solutions supporting Commercial Sales strategiesInvestigate and recommend new technological solutions to empower the Tyson Commercial Sales team and other cross-functional constituents with a competitive advantageFoster strong cross-functional collaboration and establish reputation as trusted business partner

Qualifications:

Expert-level skills in Power BI w/ proficiency in DAX and MProven expertise working with and validating multiple interdependent datasetsIntermediate proficiency using SAP and PalantirAgile learner with ability to turn data into actionable insightsStrong project management and effective communication skillsDemonstrated ability to influence and drive cross-functional impactSelf-motivated with a strong sense of time management, ability to proactively identify and meet needs, and capacity to lead with minimal directionProven track record of fostering engagement and developing Team Members (2)Ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced, competing priorities environmentStrong desire to explore new technical capabilities and continuously improve business processes and strategiesCommitment to leadership approach defined by service to othersSets the example of the RIGHT (Results, Innovate, Growth Mindset, Humility, and Teamwork) behaviors7+ years of CPG experience in IT, Retail Trade, Business Intelligence, or FinanceBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
