The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Balance Sheet Accounting Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of balance sheet accounts. Your primary duties will include ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, managing reconciliations, and supporting audits and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.Analyze balance sheet accounts and provide insights on variances.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing processes.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

The salary range for this opportunity starts at 3500 EUR gross per month. The final salary offer reflects the set of skills and experience that selected candidates bring to the team.

Required Skills and Expertise

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on balance sheet management.Minimum of 5 years of people management experience.Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
