Complete general maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion, thoroughness, and cost-effectiveness, and perform advanced maintenance and repairs related to the preventive maintenance program Assist in maintaining water softeners according to the preventive maintenance schedule, including maintaining salt inventory Handle multiple call-outs or work orders, operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, and perform advanced troubleshooting on trade functions such as electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, boiler operation, and equipment repair Perform carpentry and painting duties, report maintenance problems requiring trade-specific skills, and adhere to all safety, risk management, and environmental policies and procedures Wear required personal protective equipment, assist in training and development of maintenance team member, and perform plowing duties A valid drivers license and clean MVR is required to operate company vehicles More about you Minimum of 5 years of experience in general building maintenance or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing Advanced knowledge of general building maintenance, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Requires drivers license and ability to safely operate company vehicle in inclement weather. Physical requirements Wear all required personal protective equipment needed to carry out assigned tasks safely. Ability to enter into and work in confined and crawlspaces. Will climb and descend ladders repeatedly while supporting tools and equipment. Walking, bending, squatting, reaching, pulling with ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity in the use of hands to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools and equipment. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, sun, wind, rain and snow.
