As a Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of overall plant (Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3) machinery, and equipment, by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. Also, to design and implement maintenance strategies, oversee maintenance programs, and diagnose and fix equipment malfunctions. Apart from that to assist in implementation of Reliability program and promote continuous improvement for the equipment and machinery to perform as required for production manufacturing.
What you will do (Responsibilities):
Scheduled Maintenance:
Planning, scheduling and carrying out routine maintenance checks, inspections, and servicing to prevent equipment failure.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Identifying and diagnosing equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs or replacements.
Maintenance Program:
Developing and implementing maintenance programs (corrective, preventive, predictive, etc) to extend equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
Equipment Inspection:
Regularly inspecting equipment for potential problems, signs of wear, or malfunctions.
Maintenance Strategy Development:
Designing and implementing maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize costs.
Technical Support:
Providing technical support and training to operators on equipment operation and maintenance.
Emergency Response:
Responding to emergency situations involving equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
Collaboration, Coordination and Communication:
Working with other engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and execution of work.
Coordinate with vendor or any external support together with production to ensure any maintenance activity can be done as soon as possible to minimize downtime of the equipment
Record Keeping & Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Develop and update the required documentation and drawings that is relevant for maintenance activities such as but not limited to P&IDs, SOPs and etc.
Budget Management:
Develop annual budgeting and assisting in the management of maintenance budgets.
Control and tracking of maintenance expenses to ensure expenses within budget
Quality & GMP Compliance:
Ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with quality and GMP regulations, procedures and best practices
Ensuring all calibration for relevant required equipment, instruments, and interlocks being performed and maintained accordingly
Liaise with authority and external parties for any audits and ensure compliance to all standard requirements
Team Development
Conduct training need analysis on team members to determine individual development program to enhance team skill and competency
Train and guide team members on day to day activity to enhance team capability as required
What you will bring (Experience and Knowledge):
Must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering with Honors or other technical equivalent from accredited University.At least 8-10 years of working experience as a Engineer in manufacturing field, preferably Food & Beverage and/or Chemical industry.Experience with ERP and CMMS system preferably in SAPMS Office proficiency is mandatoryWho you are (Skills and Behaviors):
