We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is critical as it will involve working on complex mainframe applications that are key to our operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe technologies, including ISPF, IMS DC/DB, DB2, COBOL, and will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of our critical business applications. As a Senior Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that systems are efficient and reliable. **In this** **role, you** **will** + Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using ISPF, IMS DC/DB, DB2, COBOL + Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver software solutions on time. + Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and team members. + Check code to confirm alignment with standards and best practices. **What** **you’ll** **need to succeed (required** **skills)** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. + Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development using ISPF, IMS DC/DB, DB2, COBOL + Experience in Source control using Endevor + Strong proficiency in Mainframe tools: Mainframe Utilities, REXX, ISPF, IMS, Micro Focus Platform, Micro Focus. + Experience in support project. Experience in dealing with complex production issues.
