As a Senior Low Code Engineer in our Data and Integration Platforms team, you’ll help accelerate our digital transformation by driving low-code development excellence. You’ll play a critical role in delivering smarter, more efficient IT solutions—empowering Johnson Matthey to stay ahead in sustainable technologies and operational performance.
Your responsibilities:Champion the Low-Code Platform: Collaborate with business leaders to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable platform requirements. Be the voice of the platform within the organisation and support users to make the most of the platform using citizen development.
Stakeholder Management & Advocacy: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units, engineering, and architecture. Secure buy-in for platform initiatives and champion its value proposition.
Platform Security & Performance: Support a secure, scalable, and high-performing platform. Continuously monitor key metrics and proactively identify areas for optimization in performance, security, and user experience.
Technical Debt Management: Implement strategies to minimise technical debt within the platform. Ensure platform quality and seamless performance through code reviews, standardisation, and modularisation.
Component Reusability: Identify opportunities for reusable components across platforms and products to improve efficiency and scalability.
Develop low-code platform components and applications to support business requirements
Requirements for the role:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in application development, ideally with low-code platforms. Prior experience with Power Platform, SharePoint & Logic Apps is a must.
Deep knowledge and understanding of low-code development principles and methodologies.
Experience leading and/or mentoring a team, mentoring junior engineers, providing training and support.
Strong understanding of security best practices for low-code development.
Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform licensing.
How you will be rewarded:Salary range for this position is from 55 500 to 72 500 EUR per year depending on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. This role is also eligible to receive discretionary annual bonus that align with individual and company performance.
