We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Logistics Analyst supports the HealthTrust Freight Management (HT FM) Program by gathering, analyzing, and reporting data to drive cost-effective transportation decisions for member organizations. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure freight compliance, uncover savings opportunities, and improve overall program efficiency. The analyst will play a key role in vendor communications, data tracking, and member reporting. Assist in the day-to-day execution of the HT FM Program, including onboarding new members and vendors, tracking compliance, and supporting issue resolution. Responsibilities: + Analyze inbound and outbound shipment data to identify cost-saving opportunities, route optimization, and behavioral trends across modes (parcel, LTL, FTL, white glove, etc.). + Monitor and track vendor compliance with routing instructions and approved carrier utilization, escalating issues to program leadership as needed. + Support the monthly audit and reconciliation process, validating freight invoices and shipment records to ensure billing accuracy and identify discrepancies. + Build and distribute recurring and ad hoc performance reports for members, including spend summaries, vendor compliance, carrier utilization, and trend analysis. + Coordinate with accounts payable and finance teams to ensure accurate billing integration and troubleshoot invoice exceptions. + Assist with preparation for member strategic reviews and QBRs, providing actionable insights derived from logistics KPIs and utilization metrics. + Communicate directly with vendors to verify routing updates, gather required documentation, and ensure alignment with member-specific freight policies. + Maintain internal freight databases and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and timely updates across all systems. + Contribute to internal process documentation, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: + 2–5 years of logistics, supply chain, or data analytics experience (healthcare preferred) + Experience with freight operations (parcel, LTL, etc.) is preferred. + Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is preferred.
