About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Recovery Room, you’ll be a vital member of the healthcare team, providing compassionate care and supporting patients through their post-operative recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective nursing care and IV therapy in accordance with UPMC guidelines and state regulations
Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare providers to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
Communicate changes in patient condition and seek guidance when care needs exceed LPN scope
Document patient care thoroughly to ensure seamless communication across the care team
Educate patients and families to support recovery and transitions in care
Participate in unit activities, quality improvement initiatives, and policy development
Support new staff through orientation and mentorship
Maintain a healthy work-life balance and promote a safe, respectful workplace
