Make your mark in: Claims Operations and Legal Departments

As a Senior Legal Processing Specialist in the Claims Operations and Legal Departments, you will be responsible for reviewing, logging, and routing legal Service of Process (SOP) documents received by the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring time sensitive legal documents are processed accurately and efficiently to ensure compliance is maintained.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and our Shared Services partner, helping to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. While the Shared Services team supports certain functions, you will be expected to take ownership of the more complex or sensitive workstreams and provide guidance as needed to maintain quality and consistency.

You’ll also bring strong analytical and presentation skills to the role, using Microsoft Excel to manage operational logs and data, and PowerPoint to create quarterly presentations that highlight team progress, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is comfortable balancing legal research with data-driven reporting.

Support the Claims Operations and Legal teams with legal processing tasks and project-based initiatives.Review, research, and route legal documents served on the company in a timely and accurate manner.Conduct docket and court-filed document searches for state and federal cases as requested by claims adjusters.Perform jury verdict and attorney background research using Westlaw and other legal research tools.Respond to inquiries from Coverage Counsel and Claims Legal, providing clear and well-documented information.Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal policies and procedures.Assist with reporting and data tracking using Excel and other tools to support operational transparency.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Shared Services partners to ensure consistent execution of assigned tasks.Create and maintain visual dashboards and quarterly presentations in PowerPoint to communicate team progress and insights.

What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 4+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years in a relevant role.Paralegal certification preferred.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.Demonstrated research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Comfortable navigating complex issues using a solid understanding of company policies and legal procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required.Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
