Senior Legal Counsel (Real Estate and Facilitiy Management)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in London and provide legal support to our Real Estate Management services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and extensive experience in negotiating and drafting complex outsourcing agreements a global or regional scale.
 

Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and support to the Work Dynamics business in all legal matters related to outsourcing services (including of major corporations' real estate and facility management functions) or other types of real estate transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, especially service agreements.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Advise on legal risks and provide strategic guidance to business leaders to mitigate risks effectively.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and risk management teams, to address legal issues and support business objectives.Stay informed about legal developments and industry trends affecting facility management and real estate and provide proactive guidance to the business unit.Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance compliance and mitigate legal risks.

Requirements:

Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience (this is indicative and other levels of experience may be considered if requirements are met).Demonstrated experience in negotiating and drafting complex agreements, preferably within the facility management, real estate industry or other outsourcing sector.Strong understanding of global or regional legal frameworks related to real estate transactions and facility management services.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Adaptable and proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an international or multi-national organization.Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organizational structure.
