This pivotal role will partner closely with business leaders to manage risk, foster business growth, and ensure legal integrity and compliance throughout CBRE's operations. **About the Role:** + Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters and complex projects. + Draft and negotiate diverse commercial agreements for real estate services. + Advise management on legal matters and risk mitigation, aligned with strategic objectives. + Support business growth, including navigating new and evolving regulations. + Collaborate to improve legal processes for enhanced risk management. + Monitor legal developments and proactively manage associated risks. + Partner with cross-functional teams (Litigation and Compliance) to ensure effective legal management + Manage and mentor other lawyers in the team, provide leadership in allocating work, training and development, coaching, as well as measuring, appraising and rewarding performance. **About You:** We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced legal professional to join our team. You will bring: + A Bachelor of Laws degree with demonstrable experience. + A current New South Wales (or equivalent) Practising Certificate. + At least 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in a full-service law firm or in-house role. + Proven experience in a commercial setting, with strong negotiation skills. + Excellent advisory, communication, and leadership capabilities. + Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, commercially minded approach. + The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make sound decisions. **So, what's in it for you?** Our company is diverse and so are the opportunities for professional and career development.
